Using Split Screen with More Than One Monitor
With an external monitor, a tiled layout is easy to set up on each screen. The brightness of an external monitor is often set with small buttons on the monitor itself, which is slow to do.
Adjusting External Monitors with Tegaro
The Tegaro Displays tool changes the brightness of external monitors from your keyboard with ⌃⌥ + and ⌃⌥ −. Displays stays free after the 14-day trial. Brightness above 100% on XDR displays needs Pro.
If Split View does not work well with an external monitor, open System Settings → Desktop & Dock and make sure Displays have separate Spaces is turned on. Log out and back in after changing it.
