Privacy and footprint
Tegaro runs its core typing, clipboard and downloaded-model dictation workflows locally. AI usage may query Claude or Codex providers using existing authentication; licensing checks, downloads, updates and opted-in email have separate network behaviour. Review each product’s privacy documentation for the feature you use.
Native macOS app built with Swift.
Core typing, copied-content and downloaded-model dictation workflows stay local. Licensing, optional renewal lookups, model downloads, opted-in diagnostics and direct AI-provider checks are separate network actions. AI Usage uses existing provider sign-in and does not send provider credentials to Tegaro.

Frequently asked questions
Why does Tegaro not sync clipboard history to my iPhone?
Tegaro keeps what you copy on your Mac, with no sync and no account. If you need your clipboard history on all your Apple devices, Paste does that.
How does pasting with Tegaro compare to Paste's cards?
Paste shows a row of cards you choose from. In Tegaro, ⌘1–9 pastes one of the first nine items without opening a bigger window.
Can I buy Tegaro once instead of subscribing?
Yes. Pro has a $100 lifetime plan that covers up to 3 of your Macs. There are also monthly ($4.99, first month $1.99) and yearly ($29.99) plans.
