Macs Fan Control vs Tegaro
Tegaro is better if you want battery and power information plus a keep-awake switch. Macs Fan Control is stronger for manual fan control.
Macs Fan Control reads temperatures and lets you set fan speeds by hand. Tegaro's Power tool shows battery, wattage and load but leaves the fans to macOS.

Macs Fan Control and Tegaro both help you keep an eye on a Mac, but only Macs Fan Control lets you set fan speeds. It shows temperature sensor readings and lets you choose fixed fan speeds or sensor-based curves. Tegaro does not control fans. Its Power tool reads battery and load without touching fans or charging: it shows battery charge, charging wattage, time to full or remaining, battery health, cycle count and temperature, plus CPU, memory and disk load, free after the 14-day trial. The same menu-bar icon holds eight more tools, including clipboard, screenshots and dictation.
Free power readouts
Battery, adapter and normal Power information remain available after the trial.
CPU and memory beside battery
Power keeps load information beside battery data.
No extra app to install
These readouts live inside the existing Tegaro menu-bar app.

Native macOS app built with Swift.
Core typing, copied-content and downloaded-model dictation workflows stay local.
